There are words of wisdom that stand the test of time; and there are those that do not. An example of the latter — at least in the continuously evolving healthcare IT space — is, “stay in your lane.” As Bradd Busick, CIO at MultiCare Health System, wrote in blog post earlier this year, the last thing CIOs (or any leaders, for that matter) should be doing is “focusing solely on the tasks and responsibilities within your job description.”
On the contrary, as IT continues to become integrated into every aspect of an organization, limiting oneself to a single lane or task is the last thing leaders should be doing. It’s a message that clearly resonated with our readers in 2023, with the most popular blogs featuring a wide array of topics, from vendor partnerships to the evolving CISO role to building trust.
Here’s hoping we continued to see “blurred lines” in the New Year. In the meantime, below is a listing of the most viewed blog posts of 2023. We are extremely grateful, as always, to those who are willing to share their perspectives.
