In an interview published earlier this year, Luke Olenoski, SVP and CIO at Main Line Health, offered this insight: “You learn the most when you’re uncomfortable.” If that’s true — and it certainly seems to be the case — then there has been tremendous growth during the past few years. Whether it stems from digital advancement, mergers and acquisitions, or cybersecurity breaches, the landscape is constantly shifting, which means leaders have to shift along with it.
To that end, we’ve broadened our scope. Rather than focusing solely on CIOs, we’ve expanded to include CISOs, CDOs, CIDOs, chief value officers, and other influential leaders. This past year, we’ve spoken with leaders from integrated delivery systems, community hospitals, and academic medical centers to help shed light on how they’re approaching the biggest challenges in healthcare, from care access to workforce management to artificial intelligence.
Needless to say, we learned quite a lot.
