Trace Devanny, president of Cerner Corporation, will leave the company on July 16 “to pursue other business opportunities.” His responsibilities will be absorbed by the current organization, according to a statement. Neal Patterson will become the company’s president, in addition to his current role as Cerner’s chairman and CEO. Devanny joined Cerner in an executive role in 1994 and became Cerner’s president in 1999.
