With shortages looming, “There is no more important time to empower our nurses to innovate and generate new clinical care models supported by technology,” said CIO Terri Couts, one of several leaders who shares thoughts on the value of nurses.
Oftentimes the root of clinician satisfaction isn’t the technology itself, but rather, how it was deployed, said Terri Couts, CIO at The Guthrie Clinic. Resolving it requires “getting out and talking to individuals and understanding” their concerns.
