Three new CHIME members have been elected to the Board of Trustees, the Ann Arbor-Mich.-based organization recently announced. Beginning on January 1, 2024, the following leaders will begin their terms:
- Saad Chaudhry, CDO and CIO at Luminis Health
- Linda Stevenson, CIO at Fisher-Titus Medical Center
- Jeffrey Sturman, SVP and CDO at Memorial Healthcare System
In addition, Andrea Daugherty, Head of Digital Health, SHI International Corp. (and former Interim CIO, Dell Medical School at UT Austin) will join the CHIME Foundation Board at the start of the new year.
In a statement, CHIME Board of Trustees Chair Daniel Nigrin, MD, CIO at MaineHealth, referred to the four individuals as “innovative and influential leaders in the digital and health industry and business experts who will provide strategic oversight and bring independent and diverse perspectives to help strengthen CHIME.”
In addition, CHIME also announced the 2024 and 2025 Board of Trustees Officers. The incoming class, which start their terms in 2024, includes:
- Scott MacLean, SVP & CIO at MedStar Health – Chairperson
- Aaron Miri, SVP & CDIO, Baptist Health – Treasurer
- Sheree McFarlan, CIO, HCA – Secretary
In January of 2025, the following elected members will take office:
- Tressa Springmann, SVP & CDO and CIO, LifeBridge Health – Chairperson
- Terri Couts, CDO, The Guthrie Clinic – Treasurer
- Daniel Barchi, SVP & CIO, CommonSpirit Health – Secretary
