CHIME Unveils Inaugural Group of Lifetime Members

In celebration of its 20^th anniversary, CHIME is honoring those who have maintained continuous membership since its inception with the Lifetime Membership designation. The first group of Lifetime CHIME members was announced this week at the CHIME12 Fall CIO Forum in Indian Wells, Calif.

“CHIME is proud to recognize those members who have contributed to CHIME’s success over the past 20 years,” said President and CEO Richard Correll. “CIOs have stepped into key leadership roles, not for personal glory or recognition, but for the purpose of helping their peers and promoting the wider use of health IT.”

Beginning in 2013, CHIME will award the LCHIME designation to members who have maintained membership for a minimum of 15 years and have either served on the CHIME Board of Trustees or achieved CHIME Fellow status.
