CHIME’s Board of Trustees established the Fellow program to honor and recognize members who have actively participated in the organization and who have made significant contributions to the healthcare IT field as CIOs.
Ganguly is VP/CIO at CentraState Healthcare System in Freehold, NJ. He has served as the CIO of the 282 bed acute care hospital since 1999 and has led the development of a rolling IT strategy centered around patient safety, productivity and physician affinity. Ganguly was most recently honored with CHIME’s State Advocacy Award for his active involvement in CHIME CIO StateNet and his commitment to the growth and success of state-wide initiatives to further the advancement of HIE and health IT adoption. He’s been an active CHIME member for the past nine years where he currently sits as StateNet Vice-Chair and Fall Forum Planning Committee Chair. Ganguly, CHCIO, also serves on the organization’s Advocacy Leadership Team and Policy Steering Committee.
McCulloch is Deputy Chief Information Officer at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, a comprehensive healthcare facility dedicated to patient care, research, and biomedical education. Since joining Vanderbilt in 2005, he has overseen the implementation of both a new clinical workforce management system and LIS, as well as led the development of IT strategies for hospital expansion projects. He has been an active part of CHIME since becoming a member in 2005. Most notably, he served on several CHIME Certification Sub-committees and became one of the organization’s first CHCIOs. He continues to provide guidance, input and oversight to the CHCIO Program and is currently a member of the CHCIO Governing Board.
Reed is VP/CIO at Atlantic Health — a large two-hospital system in northern New Jersey. With extensive experience implementing and managing large scale HIT projects and systems as well as significant experience negotiating and managing healthcare IT vendors, Reed is responsible for planning, acquiring and implementing IT and telecommunications. She has been a long-standing member of CHIME since 2001 and served on the CHIME Board of Trustees from 2008 through 2010. She is currently a member of the CHIME Education Foundation Board, Membership Committee and Advocacy Leadership Committee.
Sunquist is CIO at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center and public teaching hospital. She is responsible for IT, bioelectroinics, Telecom, HIM and the EMR program. Since joining Hennepin in 2004, she has led the implementation of an enterprise wide integrated clinical/revenue cycle system. Sunquist has been an active part of CHIME since becoming a member in 2002. She has been involved in a number of CHIME committees both past and present, including the Advocacy Leadership Committee, Awards Committee, Membership Committee and Scholarship Committee. She served on the CHIME Board of Trustees from 2007 through 2010, where she was the 2009 Board Chair and 2010 Foundation Board Chair.
