Jan De Witte, President/CEO, GE Healthcare IT
Jan De Witte, currently president and CEO of GE Healthcare’s Performance Solutions division, has also been named president and CEO of its Healthcare IT business, replacing Vishal Wanchoo who was recently named SVP of Growth Initiatives for GE India.
De Witte was named president and CEO of GE Healthcare Performance Solutions in June 2010. According to the company, he has served in a number of strategic technology and business leadership roles since he joined GE in 1999. He has a background in services, digital business strategy, supply chain, manufacturing, quality and Lean Six Sigma. Previously Jan led GE Healthcare’s $1.2 billion Services business across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, a role that also oversaw the company’s regional Healthcare IT businesses.
He will report to GE Healthcare President and CEO John Dineen.
