Drummond Offering Certification Direction
Drummond Group Inc. has introduced its “EHR Certification Roadmap for Hospitals” for facilities with EHRs developed in-house or with systems comprised of various technologies from multiple vendors.
The roadmap provides an evaluation of certification needs, certification gap analysis and customized testing, according to Drummond Group. First, it guides the hospital in cataloging the technologies in its EHR network, then performs an ARRA Certification Gap Analysis to determine which pieces of software do and which do not require testing. Drummond Group testing proctors then advise the required steps for testing.
Several hospitals including Vanderbilt University Medical Center provided Drummond Group with input into the development of the program, according to the organization.
