Seventeen CHIME members and CHIME Affiliate program participants have been credentialed as Certified Healthcare CIOs (CHCIO) and CHCIO-Eligible.
The CHCIO Program was developed with input from 46 CHIME members and certification professionals at Castle Worldwide. By definition, a CHCIO demonstrates the commitment, knowledge, and experience required to master the core skills important for successful CIOs and IT executives. CHIME members who have been in a CIO or equivalent position for at least three years, pass the 125-question CHCIO examination, and collect 25 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are eligible to become certified. CHCIOs must undergo recertification every three years. CHCIO-Eligible status is awarded to those candidates who meet all of the program requirements but lack the requisite number of years of experience as a CIO.
CHIME recognizes the following individuals:
Benjamin Bielak, Allana L. Cummings, Mary Carroll Ford, David Furnas, Bridget Haggerty, Cynthia S. Hyde, Fernando Martinez, Michael Minear, Wayne Robert Sass, Stephen M. Stewart, Ronald J.
