6/16 – The State of Analytics (And How You Can Survive It): Gene Thomas, VP/CIO, Memorial Hospital and Memorial Physician Clinics at Gulfport
You can’t improve what you don’t measure, but getting useful analytics out of clinical care data is easier said than done. That’s largely because interoperability challenges between applications in-house — and also between other providers the patients have seen — result in data silos, and the fact that even if you get the data out, it’s largely an apples-to-oranges comparison. But fear not, in this webinar you’ll hear from one CIO who’s done much work in the data analytics space, figuring out ways to get from the current state to the quality data future all CIOs dream about. It’s a future he says should include all stakeholders: patients, payers, all providers and provider vendors. Until all four of those parties get on the same page, analytics will be less valuable than it could be, but they eventually must do so as we forge ahead in an outcomes-based environment.
